PDFkey · ID two-up

Aadhaar, PAN or ID card front and back on one A4 — under 200 KB

Scholarship portals, bank KYC and college admissions keep asking for "both sides of the ID on one page", usually as a PDF of 200 KB or less. A photocopy shop does this with a scanner; on a phone you end up with two separate photos. PDFkey places the front and back of any card — Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, driving licence, college ID — on one A4 page at real card size, the way a photocopy looks, and compresses the PDF to your KB limit without making the details unreadable.

How it works

Why doing this in your browser matters

A two-sided ID on one page sounds simple, but most phone apps either stretch the photos to fill the page — so the card prints at the wrong size — or export a 3 MB PDF that the portal rejects. PDFkey keeps the card's true proportions, lays the two sides out with photocopy spacing, and then searches for the sharpest pixel size and quality that fits the KB cap. The numbers and photo stay legible at 200 KB because the page is mostly white paper, and the file never passes through a server.

How to do it

  1. Select the front photo, then the back photo.
  2. Pick Real card size or Larger, Colour or Greyscale, and the KB cap.
  3. Press Make A4 PDF, check the preview and download. Print and self-attest if the office asks.

Questions

My photos are tilted or have background around the card.

Crop close to the card edges in your gallery app first. PDFkey keeps what you give it and fits it to the card box.

Can I add both Aadhaar and PAN on one page?

This tool places two images — use the Aadhaar front for the first and the PAN front for the second if that is what the form wants.

Will it fit under 100 KB?

Usually, in Greyscale with Real card size. Type 100 as the cap; the badge tells you the final size.

Do I need to self-attest?

Many offices ask for a signature on the copy. Print, sign across the images, and scan or photograph it again if it must be uploaded.

Is my ID uploaded?

No. Both photos are laid out and compressed inside this browser tab.
