Privacy Policy
The short version
The tools on fabxlabs.com process your files on your own device, inside your browser. We never receive, store or look at those files. Only if you allow it, we use Google Analytics cookies to count visits, see which tools are used and what people search for on the site — analytics stays off until you choose to allow it. The separate FABX connector for AI assistants does process files on our servers, and deletes them within one hour.

Files you open in a tool on this website
When you open a photo, PDF or any other file in a tool on fabxlabs.com, it is read and processed in your browser's memory. The file, its name and its contents are never sent over the network to FABX Labs or anyone else. What you type into a tool — such as a name and date for a photo strip, a password to unlock a PDF, or a size limit — also stays in your browser. When you close the tab, it is gone. Files you download are saved to your own device; on a shared or public computer, delete them after use.
The FABX connector for AI assistants
If you or your AI assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT) use the FABX connector at mcp.fabxlabs.com, the files sent to it are processed on servers run by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, so a result can be returned. Uploaded files and results are kept in temporary storage for at most one hour and then deleted automatically. We do not use them for anything else, sell them, or use them to train AI models. Your AI assistant's provider handles your chat under its own privacy policy. Do not send the connector files containing other people's personal data unless you are allowed to.
Analytics — only if you allow it
On your first visit a notice asks whether we may use analytics cookies. Until you allow it, no Google Analytics code is loaded. If you allow it, Google Analytics 4 collects — with IP anonymisation on, and Google signals and ad personalisation off:
- pages you view, the page you came from and time on the site;
- approximate location (country and city), device type, operating system, browser and language;
- when a tool finishes: which tool page it was, the size of the file it produced and how many files — never the file, its name or its contents;
- words you type into the site search box (first 60 characters) and how many results were shown — so please don't type personal details there;
- the address of any page that was not found.
We use this only to understand which tools help and to improve the site. Google processes it on servers that may be outside India, under Google's privacy policy. We keep analytics data for no longer than 14 months. Change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; declining never stops a tool from working.
Cookies and storage on your device
- Your choice on the notice — saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again.
- Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*) — only if you allow analytics; they can last up to two years. - Offline copy of the site — the site stores its own pages and scripts in your browser so tools keep working offline. It never contains your files.
- Cloudflare may set cookies needed for security and to keep the site running.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify you.
Email you send us
If you write to [email protected], we keep your email so we can reply and, if you ask, to tell you when a tool is ready. We do not sell or share it. Ask and we will delete it.
Children
Many of our users are students, and some are under 18. If you are under 18, use the site with the knowledge of a parent or guardian and let them make the choice on the analytics notice. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, we show no ads, and we do not use analytics to target or profile anyone. A parent or guardian can write to us to have any data about their child deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and to correct or delete it; you can withdraw consent you gave; and you can raise a grievance with us. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve your grievance. Because the browser tools never send us your files and analytics does not tell us who you are, we may hold little or nothing that identifies you — tell us what you need and we will help.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. The browser tools never transmit your files, and the connector deletes files within one hour. No system is perfectly secure, so avoid sending the connector documents you would not want processed online.
The browser extension
The FABX PDF Toolkit extension requests no permissions beyond opening its own page. It does not read your browsing history, other tabs, cookies or website content, and it contains no analytics or tracking code.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above, and we will describe any new kind of data collection here before it starts.

Email [email protected] with "Privacy grievance" in the subject. We aim to acknowledge within 3 working days and to respond within 30 days.
